Certified Bereavement Doula Support
$0.00

Stillbirthday Birth & Bereavement Doulas® (SBD)* provide support prior to, during and after birth in any trimester.  SBD doulas are both birth doulas, and bereavement doulas. As a SBD, I can provide physical, emotional, and informational support to families experiencing pregnancy loss.

I am able to:

 - Provide individualized support

 - Be present during appointments

 - Attend the clients birth

 - Be there beyond any “shift”

 - Be available after hours

 - Will create a sacred space (music, lights, ceremony, smell, memories)

 - Hold space for the family

 - Won’t treat this as “just another shift” or “just another loss”

 - Hold hands and walk the family through their journey

 - Provide follow-up support for weeks and months to come

 - Give individualized resources and support groups

*I work on a sliding scale for this service.

About Me

My name is Lindsey Burns, I'm a mother of 4. My wife and business partner is Katelyn. We moved to the Midland area in February of 2022 from Northern Virginia. I started my Doula journey in 2011 in Northern Virginia where I served the community as a Doula and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist off and on while raising my 4 children. I became a Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula through BEST Doula Training in July 2025. I've had one hospital birth and three home water births. I enjoyed the benefits of the placenta after my three home births. When I am not helping families through birth work, I enjoy traveling, bowling and going on paranormal investigations.
